Sandy attributes her growth not only to her commitment to art but also to the amazing people who have held her hand through the journey which inspired her to also be a guide to other creatives.
She has worked with over 40 creatives both at individual and and organisational levels.
At Stage Life where she served between 2018 and 2022, she was charged with coaching new artists, editing written pieces and helping in developing concepts for performances.
Presently, she serves as creative coach and Programs Officer at Griot Hub, a creative organization that aims at guiding artists and giving them a stage to connect with, build an audience and also master how to earn from their art.
Apart from art, she is a sign language interpreter and skills trainer.
As an interpreter, Sandy enhances inclusiveness through speech to sign language and vice versa interpretation at conferences, seminars church events and every other necessary occasion. This skill is backed by 5 years of teaching experience at Buea School for the Deaf where her sign language was not only perfected but she had an indepth understanding of deaf culture and interpretation.
Sandy believes that every skill we have is a tool that can better our society if used effectively.
Her dream is not only to have her art read and heard all over the world but to be a voice in policy making, seeing the world through the lens of an artist and using that to shape her society.
